We just got a foot of snow over the last two days! This is the most I've seen since moving to North Carolina from Boston. So fun!! Maia is in seventh heaven. She's been going out several times a day to play in the snow.
She and Harry made a great big snowman and lots of snow angels.
And here's our snow day baking from yesterday -- an almond cake from Nigella Lawson's How to be a Domestic Goddess. Yum. I'm trying (on the domestic goddess front) and occasionally succeed briefly. At least as long as you don't look at the rest of the house -- which is draped with wet winter coats, boots, mittens, hats and who knows what else.
