These are the Valentine's Maia gave to her preschool classmates yesterday: melted crayon hearts. They shouldn't have been last minute, but they were. I wanted a heart craft she could do herself (with a little help) and that would lend itself to mass production since we had to make at least 16.
The heart craft :
Watercolors painted over melted crayon shavings on paper hearts.
The verdict :
Easy. Quick. And quite pretty.
