Okay, this is basically just show-and-tell, but here's a simple birthday banner I sewed for my new niece (and the reason Maia wanted to make the banner I posted about yesterday). I made it much the way I made Maia's birthday banner, with freezer paper stenciled letters. You can't tell from this photo, but the fabric is a pretty white on white design. I figured this could be used for future birthdays as well as to welcome the new baby.
I'm a little out of it this week, which is not so good. All I want to do is curl up with a good book and a hot drink. Which is not going to happen (at least not for the nice long stretches that I'd like) so I need to go run laps around the house or something to get my blood pumping.
