Daphne, 16 months, and Joe, 21 months, painting side by side at the toddler art group last week. No one else made it through all the snow we had last week. But these two had fun painting together!
I'm getting the urge to repaint the studio. See all the paint splatters on the wall behind the kids? And the paint drips over on the drying wall? I know it's a studio and should have some paint splatters, but I'm ready to clean up and start over. And as much as I have loved this green, I think it's time for a new color in here. Any suggestions? I don't know where to make it all light and white/cream (which would sure show up the paint splatters!) or to make it fun and artsy with a few colors or to do something in between (maybe lavender).
I'd also love to paint one wall with chalkboard paint, but maybe it's not necessary since we have the big chalkboard in the living room. And I'd still like to change out the table. Maybe use two of these smaller tables instead -- they are adjustable so I could have one at toddler height and one at Maia's height. Any other ideas for me while I'm dreaming?
P.S. You can see more pics of our studio here and here. Just in case any of you want to help me brainstorm changes!
