I hope you had a fun 4th of July! We sure did. Today I have two new articles up elsewhere that I'm going to share with you (and then I'm going to buckle down and work on my book). Enjoy.
First, I have a new post up over at Babble's Toddler Times about watermelon pops - a super easy summer treat that we made this past weekend. I'm on the search for more good, no-cook recipes that I can make with Maia and Daphne, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!
And second, we recently made paper maché volcanoes so that we'd be able to erupt them over and over again this summer (as opposed to the spectacular but one-shot-deal playdough volcano). For the instructions, see my column in the July issue of WNC Parent. To read it, you'll have to follow the link above, click on the cover image, then either scroll through to find page 38 (they took out the search by page number feature, darn it) or click on the screenshot of pages 40-41 at the bottom of the page.
