It's perhaps a bit early to hang this bunting, with Maia's birthday not until this coming weekend, but I'm not known for my patience. Besides, we like to drag the birthday festivities out a bit in our home. And with Daphne's birthday only two weeks after Maia's, I guess we're officially entering birthday mode for a while.
I made this rainbow bunting with some fabric from my friend's yard sale. It was a sample "book" of rainbow fabrics and I chose it specifically with a bunting in mind. I simply cut the fabric into triangles with pinking shears, then sewed them all along a black ribbon.
I still have the "happy birthday" bunting I made last year, and I'm sure we'll find a good spot for it, but in the meantime, I'm loving all this colorful rainbow fun.
