Hello, my friends. It's been a while.
Last week was a doozy. One family member after another sick. Fevers, ear infections, doctor visits, the works. We're still recovering.
But during a midweek lull, we celebrated Harry's birthday and I made him this cherry pie by request. Isn't it pretty? I had a lot of fun with the crust.
I've been meaning to share my cherry pie recipe with you. Would anyone be interested in it? I know not everyone bakes and even fewer people bake pie, but this is a good one. I use canned cherries (but not that awful canned cherry pie filling!) and it's really rather easy.
And so, so good. But then, I'm a cherry pie person.
