After thinking about having an e-mail newsletter for a long time, I am finally taking the plunge.
Will you please join me?
You'll receive a friendly e-mail from me once every other week. Nothing too elaborate. My aim is to be helpful. Sort of a regular kids' art tips and inspiration kind of thing.
Here are my thoughts for content:
- Roundups of Artful Parent blog posts and highlights
- Instructions for a simple kids' art or craft activity
- Art tips
- Interesting links from around the web
- Updates on my projects and books
- Creative resources (art materials we like, creative games, children's literature, etc)
- Occasional special offers
How does that sound? Any other ideas (since I'm still partly in planning mode)?
Please note: I may deviate from this plan slightly as I get the hang of this newsletter thing.
I may also send a themed newsletter every once in a while (once a month or less) in addition to the regular weekly newsletters. An example would be a newsletter focused on Fall/Halloween crafts or one focused on toddler art and creativity.
So... Surely you are as excited as I am about this newsletter and can't wait to sign up?!
Just enter your name and best e-mail address in this handy dandy subscription form (I will never, ever share or sell your e-mail addresses):
After you sign up (and confirm your subscription), you'll receive a welcome e-mail from me right away with some ideas for getting started with kids' art and links to helpful and popular posts and such.
And your first newsletter should arrive next Tuesday!
xo, Jean
P.S. Do you receive my blog posts via e-mail and wonder how this is different? If you are signed up to receive my blog posts, you will get each one as an e-mail every time I post. So if I post five times a week, you receive five e-mails from me over the course of the week. The weekly newsletter will come just once a week and will include links to some of the past week's blog posts as well as MORE interesting and helpful content.
