In our home, we celebrate the seasons and holidays through art, crafts, and cooking together. Celebrating the seasons and holidays is a traditional way to embrace creativity together as a family. It can also be a fun way to decorate, prepare for, and learn about the holidays we celebrate.
Rather than going to a big box store to buy all of our holiday decorations and needs, we can take the time to make our holidays more meaningful and fun by doing at least some of it ourselves.
We make memories and mementos, have fun, and grow creatively in the process.
While my book, The Artful Parent: Simple Ways to Fill Your Family's Life with Art and Creativity, focuses on everyday art for kids (including lots of hows and whys as well as awesome art activities), this e-book series focuses on my other love—celebrating holidays and seasons through arts and crafts.
